RSPS Students Play NYS Tackle Football

The Mustang football team, comprised of mostly Rancho Solano students, began play this spring in the NYS tackle football league. After playing their first two opponents tough, only to lose each game by a touchdown, the Mustangs earned their first victory of the season Saturday morning at Desert Edge High School in Goodyear. Inspired play on both sides of the ball led to a convincing 20-0 victory. The Mustangs are coached by Rancho Solano’s Troy Head. Rancho Solano students from both the Prep School and middle schools participate to gain valuable experience that will help them be successful at the high school level.
