Faculty Mentoring
Jeannine McDonald
Head of School
Ms. Jeannine McDonald has over 25 years of educational
experience. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Lesley College
in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and her Master’s from Assumption
College in Worcester, MA. Ms. McDonald brings a wealth of
experience in the field of education having taught lower, middle
and high school students in both public and private settings and
served as a Senior Administrator for the past 17 years at a private
boarding school in New Hampshire. Her experience extends into the
college level, providing direct supervision of faculty and
curriculum design for adult education. She has served as a site
evaluator for the both the New England Association and Advanc-Ed
Association Accreditation Teams and has been the private school
facilitator for the Coalition of Women Task Force, an association
providing schools with resources for faculty professional
development. She has provided extensive training to faculty through
workshops and publications.
Bob Anderson
Biology Teacher
Mr. Anderson brings nearly 30 years of teaching experience to
Rancho Solano Preparatory School, including a decade spent as an
adjunct professor at Cypress Community College and Metropolitan
Community College in Omaha. In addition to an extensive teaching
background, Mr. Anderson has over ten years experience as an
independent consultant in the technology field and will use his
expertise in this area to encourage the “real world” application of
classroom learning and analysis. Mr. Anderson holds a Bachelor’s
degree in biological sciences from the University of California,
Irvine and earned a Master’s in Business Administration from
Pepperdine University.
Laurie Cuda
Humanities Divisional Chair
Ms. Laurie Cuda joins the Rancho Solano Preparatory School
bringing both a business and education background to our students.
With a BA degree in business and marketing, a Masters degree in
Education and Curriculum Development and an Advanced Graduate
Studies degree in Administration, Ms. Cuda shares with us a wealth
of professional experiences to enhance our educational program,
including a dual-certificate in secondary education in English and
Business. Ms. Cuda has taught all levels of high school English and
is a trained and experienced Advanced Placement educator. She has
also served as an Executive Director for a corporation and an
Advertising Communications manager in the private sector.
Rosalind (Tucky) Fussell
Divisional Chair for Visual Arts
World Language Teacher
Ms. Tucky Fussell is an experienced high school art teacher. She
has spent two years overseas teaching at an International School in
Karachi and completed several years teaching IB Art in Kuwait. Ms.
Fussell has a graphic design and art background, including:
woodworking, drawing-self-portraits, architecture, comics and
cartoons, graphic novels, pen and ink, scratchboard, painting, 2D
design, banners, children’s books, advertising, sculpture,
papier-mâché, wood furniture, wire, printmaking, murals, digital
photography, installation design with multi-media, and calligraphy.
She is an inventive visual, literary, and musical artist, and has
sponsored art exhibitions world-wide. She is also fluent in French
and in Spanish. Ms. Fussell received her Bachelor’s degree in
Anthropology and French with her minor in Art History at
Northwestern University and her Master’s in Education at Lesley
University.
Antony (Tony) Greenall
Department Chair for Science
IB Coordinator
Mr. Tony Greenall has over 28 years experience in teaching and
has served as a chemistry specialist, departmental chair, trainee
teacher mentor, external examiner and an inspector for the Council
of International Schools. He has spent the last six years at a
private high school in Atlanta, Georgia as the school’s chemistry
teacher and science development co-coordinator designing a new $7.5
million science building. He taught grade 8 through grade 12 with
emphasis on IB Chemistry. Prior to his career in education, Mr.
Greenall was a research chemist for a world leader in the chemical
industry. After many years at a British independent school, Mr.
Greenall decided to explore the education system in the United
States and received his IB training in Montreal. Mr. Greenall
received his Ordinary National Certificate, Higher National
Certificate in Chemistry, Graduate of the Royal Institute of
Chemistry with distinction and a Post Graduate Certificate in
Education from Manchester University.
Qibo Jing
Math Teacher
World Language Teacher
Dr. Qibo Jing is an experienced educator with over 15 years of
teaching at both the high school and college level. He has taught
9th through12th grade science and math courses, including Advanced
Placement courses in Calculus and Physics. He is a frequent
participator and contributor in the College Board AP Calculus
discussion group and is a member of the National Council of
Teachers of Mathematics. Dr. Jing finished a study equivalent to
Masters of Science in Applied Math from the University of
California at Riverside, and received his PhD in Chemical
Engineering from Brigham Young University and his Master of Science
in Cryogenics Engineering and his Bachelors of Science in Applied
Physics from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in
China. With his extensive educational background, Dr. Jing will
provide an exceptional learning opportunity for our students in
Math, Science and World Languages (Mandarin,Chinese and
Russian).
Leigh Anne Kreykes
Director of Fine Arts
Band and Choir Teacher
Ms. Kreykes brings a vast arts background to Rancho Solano
Preparatory School, with a decade of teaching experience in both
instrumental and vocal music. Ms. Kreykes has led students to
discover the inspiring power of music at all age levels, teaching
students from upper elementary through undergraduate age levels in
both private and public school systems. In addition to a
teaching career in music education and private studio instruction
in vocal and instrumental music, Ms. Kreykes has past experience in
both dance and musical theatre. She holds a Bachelor of Arts
degree in Music Education with both instrumental and vocal music
emphases from Northwestern College of Iowa, and earned a Master’s
of Music Education from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
Lisa Flores Ramirez
World Language Divisional Chair
World Language Teacher
Dr. Flores Ramirez has over 10 years of experience teaching from
high school through college. She is experienced in working with the
beginning to advanced level Spanish courses, teaching grammar,
literature, conversation and culture. Additionally, she has taught
cultural aspects of language and people around the Spanish-speaking
world. Dr. Flores Ramirez has developed Spanish curriculum and
implemented her language program to include reading, writing,
speaking and listening skills. In addition, she has traveled abroad
with students to teach Spanish in Spain. Dr. Flores Ramirez
received her Bachelor’s degree in Spanish from Humboldt State
University, her Master’s in Social Science from Humboldt State
University, and has a Ph.D. in Spanish Language and Culture from
Arizona State University. Dr. Flores Ramirez has also served as a
corporate trainer and educator at Phoenix College.
