Rancho Students Participate in Pat's Run

Rancho Solano students and staff took part in the annual Pat’s Run in Tempe on Saturday April 17th. Pat’s Run is held in honor of Pat Tillman, who was killed in Afghanistan in 2004 while serving in the 75th Ranger Regiment. The 4.2 mile run ends on the 42 yard line of Sun Devil Stadium; Pat Tillman wore #42 for the Arizona State University football team and later played for the Arizona Cardinals before enlisting after 9/11. Physics Class Travels to Crash Test Site

Rancho Prep freshman Amanda Luberto reports on the ninth grade class trip to observe a high-speed car crash simulation. The simulation, conducted by Exponent Engineering for the development of car safety devices, provided students with a real-world physics lesson along with first-hand appreciation for the importance of driver safety.
